1909: Foundation of the Waldschütz company by Carl Waldschütz. The company’s purpose was to trade in fuels and agricultural products. 1968: In the course of the economic upswing, the energy market was further developed with a high level of expertise. 2019: The extensive wealth of experience gained in the past is the basis for expert advice, installation and support services in the areas of energy efficiency and renewable energies. In the third generation, Andreas Waldschütz, trained in energy technology and business administration, has set the company on the new course of “energy efficiency” and “renewable energies”.

Carl Waldschütz founded the company 100 years ago as a bank. Soon after, the activities were expanded to include trading in fuels. During the global economic crisis of 1929, the private bank no longer had a chance without hedging. Many bank customers thought they had lost their savings.
But Anna Waldschütz, who came from the family of a cigar manufacturer, gave her private assets to the many small savers out of pure good nature.

The current company director Andreas Waldschütz, trained in energy technology and business administration, is now consistently focusing on environmental benefits with a new course of energy efficiency and renewable energies. That is why Waldschütz’s core values are ethics, responsibility, resource efficiency, intensive innovation management and efficient and sustainable action.
